Postcards from Space – Webinar

Postcards from Space

On July 31st, SCM and ICE Cubes Service hosted the webinar Postcards from Space: How We Flew Our Experiments to LEO – Summer Edition. A relaxed and inspiring webinar featuring researchers who’ve done just that—sent their science to orbit aboard the International Space Station (ISS), through the ICE Cubes Service. Here you will find personal stories from scientists who’ve launched their experiments into microgravity. They share some of the things they learned, what surprised them, and why doing research in space might just change life on Earth, and discover how launching research and payloads to space is simpler and more achievable than often expected. Whether you’re a science enthusiast, educator, student, or just a curious mind, this video is for you.

Moderator: Jose Salgado, CMO at SCM, and Andrei Sapera, ICE Cubes Marketing & Business Development, Space Applications Services NV/SA Guest Speakers:

  • Ghada Alsaleh, Associate Professor at Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, University of Oxford
